This stunning, fine and impressive Ceylon sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum.
The substantial pierced decorated setting displays a stunning central feature 8.89ct cushion cut Ceylon sapphire, six-claw set in relief to the centre.
The large principal stone is flanked on either side with an impressive individually collet set baguette cut diamond, completing the Art Deco design.
The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain platinum ring shank, featuring an internal sizing band; this allows the ring to pass over larger knuckles and sit securely on the finger, however this can be removed upon request.
This vintage sapphire ring is hallmarked to the exterior of the shank with the French platinum mark (dog's head).
This stunning and large sapphire ring is supplied with a IDGL diamond grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
Such rings set with a large untreated Ceylon sapphire are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating.
