This stunning vintage blue sapphire necklace has been crafted in platinum, with an 18ct white gold setting to the sapphire.
The necklace has a symmetrical, organic scrolling design accented with a feature articulated drop.
The stunning and salient feature drop is comprised of an 18ct white gold four claw set principal 13.50ct cushion cut Ceylon sapphire, suspended from a platinum collet set Ascher cut diamond.
The main setting of the design has an undulating form, ornamented with thirty-six eight-cut diamonds; this portion of the setting is accented with impressive correlating wirework strands.
The continuation of the undulating design is stunted with four convex collar designs embellished with ten channel set baguette cut diamonds.
The centre of the symmetrical frame is embellished with two further baguette cut diamonds collet set and conjoined with a linear setting, featuring two transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The pendant suspends from a white gold figaro style chain via an individually collet set eight-cut diamond link to either side of the design.
The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse; the chain features two bolt fastenings to allow the wearing length to be shortened by one inch.
This impressive Ceylon blue sapphire necklace with diamonds has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold and platinum.
The stunning sapphire necklace is supplied with a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*, in addition to a diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the blue sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.
