This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum.
The Art Deco diamond double clip brooch is ornamented with four feature collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds; two 0.26ct diamonds, a 0.34ct and a 0.37ct diamond, displayed in pairs to either side of the brooch.
The geometric design is embellished with a further twenty baguette cut, all channel set, and one hundred and eighty-eight pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The stylised bow design may be unclipped and separated into two individual clip brooch via a pierced decorated removable frame to the reverse.
The brooch as a whole secures with a hinged pin fastening to the reverse of the removable frame, when separated the brooches secure with a hinged clip fastening.
This antique Art Deco brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The brooch is supplied with four independent diamond grading certificates in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
NOTE: The duette (or double clip) style brooch increased in popularity in the first half of the twentieth century; they flourished during the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements due to the use of symmetry of organic designs. Due to their versatility they can be simply worn as an eye-catching single brooch, whereas the two matching brooches could be utilised as collar clips, hat clips, shoes clips, and hair clips.
