This fine and impressive antique brooch with diamonds has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The oval shaped frame is ornamented to the centre with a cameo upon an agate background.
The cameo depicts a female figures profile.
The agate panel is framed by thirty-six pavé set seed pearls.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, both components struck with the French hallmark for 18ct gold (eagle's head) and an illegible maker's mark to the pin.
