An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver four piece tea and coffee set and matching tray; an addition to our silver teaware collection

This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver four piece tea and coffee service consists of a coffee jug, teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, with matching tray.


Each piece has a tapering oval rounded form, in the iconic Design style.


The surface of each piece is plain and unembellished.


The teapot and coffee jug are fitted with plain flush hinged covers; these well engineered flush hinges indicates the fine quality of this service.


The covers are surmounted with the original carved wood swept tapering finial with a sterling silver insert, securing to the interior with a screw fitment.


The teapot and coffee jug are fitted with original rounded angular wood handles with plain sockets.


The handles to the cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with sterling silver rounded angular handles, matching the same style as the teapot and coffee jug handles.


The teapot is fitted with a cylindrical tapering spout and the coffee jug features a trunkated spout.


This fine vintage tea and coffee set sits to the original and impressive Design style, oval rounded tea tray.


The tray is fitted with two applied rounded handpieces to the surface of the wide border, with embossed decoration to the underside.


This exceptional service, crafted by the art metalworker Leonard William Burt of Burt Ltd, is a superior gauge of silver for its type.

Each pieces of this vintage tea and coffee set are a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece, including the tray, are all very clear.

The part hallmarks struck to the interior of the teapot and coffee jug covers are also very clear.
