0.33 ct Diamond and Pearl, Enamel and 18 ct Yellow Gold Miniature Brooch - Antique French Circa 1880

Description

This stunning, fine and impressive antique enamel brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The pierced decorated, asymmetrical setting displays a feature hand-painted enamel miniature portrait, depicting a young lady in period dress.

The portrait is bordered by a total of twenty eight Dutch cut pavé set diamonds.

The central arrangement is framed within a typical Victorian scrollwork design, ornamented to the upper border with two individually collet set Old European round cut diamonds and a single natural 3.48mm pearl.

The brooch secures to the reverse via a hinged pin and safety clasp fastening.

This antique French brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
