Sterling Silver Centrepiece - Antique George V (1913)

This fine antique George V sterling silver table centrepiece has a circular rounded panelled form with an octagonal tapering pedestal and knop to a circular panelled spreading foot.

The surface of the large centrepiece is plain and unembellished.

The moulded rim and foot of this fine centrepiece are ornamented with a band of pierced geometric diaper pattern decoration.

Each of the two original hallmarked baskets have a rounded panelled form onto a collet foot and are embellished with identical bands of ornamentation to that of the central bowl.

This impressive George V centrepiece is fitted with two angular scrolling sterling silver arms terminating with a scroll and Greek Key style ornamented hook.

The centrepiece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks to the surface of each the body are very clear; the hallmarks to each basket have wear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
