Description

This antique late Victorian diamond brooch has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold.

The antique bar brooch displays a feature 0.32 carat Old European round cut diamond eight claw set in subtle relief to the centre of the pierced decorated frame encircled by eight, natural brown*, Old European round cut diamonds.

This impressive antique bar brooch secures to the reverse with a safety pin style fastening and benefits from the additional security of a fine link chain with a safety clip.

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the central diamond.

This diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 ct gold.

Note* The natural brown diamonds have been incorporated in the design to enhance and accentuate the colour of the feature diamond.

Condition

This brooch is very good quality, set with old cut natural diamonds.

The brooch is in excellent condition.

The central 0.32ct diamond has slight inclusions close to one side of the surface reducing the clarity grade to P1, these inclusions are not very obvious due to their position; apart from this the diamond shows fine brilliance, being very clear and white.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery / estate jewelry.
