Description

This fine and impressive vintage tanzanite ring has been crafted in 18 ct white gold with a platinum setting.

The pierced decorated, rectangular setting (circa 1940) is ornamented with a feature 0.78 ct step cut tanzanite (circa 1990), collet set to the centre of the arrangement.

The rectangular setting is embellished with a total of forty-four pavé set eight-cut diamonds to complete the design.

The elevated, tapering ring shoulders meet the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark 'R.N', the mar for 18 ct gold (18ct) and the mark for platinum (plat).

This vintage dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition

This impressive 1940's dress ring is fine quality set with a later 1990's tanzanite, showing signs of wear in keeping with age, and very well colour matched, very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of gemstone jewellery/estate jewelry.
