The antique Victorian gold locket has an oval design with a satin finish.
The anterior face is ornamented with an incurved pierced decorated motif, accented with an inlaid panel ornamented with seven impressive individually claw set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 3.51cts.
The posterior face of this hinged locket is plain and unembellished.
This 1890's hinged locket opens to allow two photographs or small mementos to be placed behind removable, push fit transparent retainers.
The oval locket suspends from a plain tapering bale, to a ribbed bolt ring fastening and further pierced decorated bale, all conjoined with a fine link safety chain.
