This fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 21 ct yellow gold with a 14 ct yellow gold pin.

The 21 ct gold frame displays an elongated oval black onyx panel, collet set to the centre of the design.

The onyx panel is ornamented with a leaf shaped setting, embellished with six seed pearls, varying in size.

The brooch is bordered by an applied rope twist decoration.

The reverse of the brooch is fitted with a push fit glass panel which allows a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed; the original woven hair may be removed and replaced if desired.

The brooch secures with a hinged 14 ct yellow gold pin and clasp.

This antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 21 ct and 14 ct gold.

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
