This fine and impressive 1970's emerald and diamond cluster ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, elevated setting is ornamented with a feature 1.30 ct oval mixed cut emerald.
The emerald is set in relief to the centre of twelve surrounding claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The elevated, tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18 ct gold fineness mark (0.750).
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
