This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum with 18ct and 12ct white gold fittings.
The pierced decorated, geometric Art Deco design is ornamented with a feature 0.33ct and 0.30ct Old European round cut diamond, individually collet set to either side of the design.
Each of the feature diamonds is flanked to the upper and lower borders with a collet set baguette cut diamond.
The platinum set, 18ct white gold symmetrical design is embellished with a further eight pavé set Old European round cut and fifty-six pavé set eight-cut diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with an 18ct white gold hinged pin and clasp.
The hinged pin and clasp is set to a 12ct white gold frame which may be removed to allow the brooch to be worn as two separate clips, via hinge double pin fastenings with curved pointed tips, for gripping fabric.
Each of the components of this versatile dutette brooch is hallmarked with the French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head), and the side of the setting with the mark for platinum (dog's head).
This antique Art Deco duette brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates.
