9ct Yellow Gold Longuard Chain - Antique Circa 1890

This fine and impressive longuard chain has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

The antique chain consists of cable links, fitted to one side with a swivel clasp and the other a plain ring loop.

The swivel clasp is hallmarked with the 9ct gold fineness mark (9C) and maker's mark (JS), and the ring loop bears the 9ct gold fineness mark (9.375).

By virtue of its length, this 9ct gold longuard chain may be worn as a two strand or three strand necklace, either with or without a pendant via the swivel clasp; alternatively, the chain may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.

This antique 9ct gold longuard chain is exceptional quality and a superior gauge of gold.

The chain is in exceptional condition, with clear hallmarks to the clasp and ring loop.
