Natural Pearl and 0.38ct Diamond, 21ct Yellow Gold Cross Pendant - Antique French Circa 1880

This stunning antique pendant has been crafted in 21ct and 18ct yellow gold.

The pendant has been modelled in the form of a Latin cross.

The yellow gold cross pendant features a total of seven evenly spaced natural pearls, each encompassed with a black hot enamel six-pointed star/hexagram designs*.

Each star design incorporates six Dutch cut diamonds, totalling 0.38 carats.

The cross is further accented with a black hot enamel border, culminating in scrolling designs at each cross-bar terminal.

This antique cross pendant with pearls suspends from an 18" fine cable chain via an integrated 18ct yellow gold ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design.

The reverse of the loop is hallmarked with the French hallmark for 18ct gold (eagle's head).

This diamond and pearl cross necklace/pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 21 ct gold; this indicates the high quality of the piece.
