The brooch secures to the reverse with a platinum hinged pin and safety clasp.
This versatile brooch may be worn as a pendant and suspended from an 18ct white gold, 18" chain via an integrated ring loop to the reverse of the setting.
This vintage pendant / brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the platinum mark (Pt900).

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
