The exterior border of the piece is encompassed with thirty-six channel set square mine cut diamonds, completing the design.

This versatile ruby pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18 ct white gold hallmarked trace chain via a detachable, flared suspension loop attachment accented with three graduating pavé set Old European cut diamonds.

This stunning antique pendant can also be worn as a brooch via a detachable screw fit, hinged pin and clasp fastening; this detachable fitment indicates the high quality of the piece.

This fine example of early 1900's craftsmanship is stamped to the reverse with the maker's mark (BILLINGS*).

This fine pendant/brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18 ct gold.

The diamond and ruby brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the central diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

NOTE: * BILLINGS - Chester Billings & Son (1897-1910) was the successor to Randel, Baremore & Billings (1880-1897). Based in New York, Billings was also a London diamond importer.
