5.89 ct Opal and 0.28 ct Diamond, 18 ct Yellow Gold Bar Brooch - Vintage 1987

This fine and impressive vintage opal bar brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.

The brooch is ornamented with a feature 5.89 ct opal cabochon, collet set to the centre of the plain bar.

The opal is flanked on either side by a single four claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

This impressive vintage opal brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp, and is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting.

The hallmarks include the maker's mark 'AJH', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 ct gold fineness mark (750), the Edinburgh Assay Office hallmark (castle) and the date letter for 1987 (N).

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
