This antique 1920s diamond solitaire features a 0.81 carat Old European cut diamond held in high relief in a principal eight claw, pierced decorated, elevated basket setting embellished with a fluted border.

The elevated, tapered shoulders blend seamlessly into the plain 18 carat white gold shank.

The exterior of the ring shank is hallmarked with the French 18ct gold guarantee mark (eagle's head) and the maker's mark.

This antique 1920's French diamond solitaire is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate.
