Danish Sterling Silver Gilt and Enamel Spoons - Vintage 1968

An exceptional, fine and impressive set of six antique Danish sterling silver gilt and enamel spoons - boxed; an addition to our silver teaware collection

These exceptional vintage Danish sterling silver gilt coffee spoons have a plain rounded bowl.

The anterior and posterior surfaces of each bowl are embellished with contrasting vibrant enamel panels.

The stem of each spoon is ornamented with a band of bead decoration to a tapering terminal and ball style finial; each terminal incorporates further co-ordinated enamel panels.

Each piece of Danish silverware retains the original gilding.

These vintage coffee spoons are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.

The interior of the box cover bears the retailer's mark 'A. Michelsen, Kongelig Hofjuvelerer, Grundlagt 1841'.

The original box is also in presentation condition.

The enamel panels are in perfect condition.

The Danish hallmarks struck to the reverse of each stem, and import marks to one piece are all very clear.
