Description

This vintage George VI sterling silver dish has a plain circular rounded form onto a circular collet foot.

The well of the dish is embellished with four fine and impressive engine turned decorated designs in an Art Deco, geometrical style.

This George VI dish retains the original detachable hallmarked quarter divider surmounted with a incurved shaped carrying handle.

Such exceptional Art Deco style silver cake dishes are rare to the market and increasingly difficult to locate.
