This fine and impressive Victorian pendant has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.
The locket has been modelled in the form of a three dimensional heart.
The anterior face of the hinged locket is ornamented with a central 0.03ct Old European round cut diamond, pavé set to a stellate design.
The posterior face is plain and unembellished.
The hinged locket opens to reveal two push fit glass compartments, in which a personal memento or photograph may be displayed; one of the compartments currently holds an original photograph of a male in period clothing.
The Victorian yellow gold diamond locket suspends from a 9ct yellow gold rope chain, securing with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening, and hallmarked to a plaque near the clasp with the mark for 9ct gold (9O).
The pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold.
This antique diamond locket is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
