Maker: John Walton

Date: 1846

This antique Fiddle pattern silver ladle is an exceptional gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition.

The Hourglass pattern decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse are all very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver, apart from the maker's mark which has been determined as a strong probability as John Walton.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique sterling silver soup ladle.
