S Kirk & Son Inc

• Samuel Kirk opened his own shop in Baltimore, Maryland in 1815 and developed a reputation for sterling silver repoussé work. The company operated under the names Samuel Kirk & Son and S. Kirk & Son, and when taken over in 1979 by the Stieff Company, the company was renamed Kirk Stieff to withhold and capitalise on their glowing prominence.
