Description

These fine antique George V sterling silver dishes have a circular rounded form.

The surface of these antique silver dishes are plain and have a planished finish.

Each quaich-like dish is fitted with two angular handles crafted in the Art Deco style.

The underside of each silver dish is clearly signed by the renowned and very collectable silversmith R.E.Stone.

These fine bon bon dishes are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.

The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Wilson & Sharp Ltd, Diamond Merchants, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, 139 Princess Street, Edinburgh'.

Condition

These antique dishes are a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The presentation box shows some markings to the interior lining, but overall, the box is in excellent condition in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks, including the maker's signature, struck to the underside of each dish are all very clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of these examples of antique silverware.
