Sterling Silver Condiment Set - Design Style - Vintage (1972)

This impressive vintage three-piece sterling silver cruet set consists of a salt pot, a pepper pot and a condiment bottle holder/coaster.

Each pot has a plain cuboid form and the bottle holder has a cuboid base to a swept upper portion.

The body of each piece of this vintage condiment set is embellished with an impressive mandala style rosette motif, all in the Design style.

Both the salt cellar and pepper pot are fitted with hallmarked sterling silver stopers to the underside of the base.

The underside of each piece bears the designers mark 'Keith Tyssen'.

This impressive condiment set will have been crafted in the same year, but due to the hallmarking system the condiment pots are struck with the date letter 'D' and the mustard pot bears the date letter 'E'.

Such condiment sets, incorporating a bottle holder, are unusual and rare to the market.
