Description

This fine antique sterling silver table snuff box has a rectangular form with rounded corners.

The surface of this silver snuff box is embellished with panels of impressive engine turned decoration framed with plain borders.

This antique sterling silver snuff box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with a fine applied, engraved decorated thumbpiece.

The engine turned decoration to the cover incorporates a vacant circular cartouche to the centre.

The interior of each compartment has impressive gilding.

This Victorian snuff box is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The engine turned decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the interior of the cover and part hallmarks to the interior of the base are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique silverware.
