An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver Regency style mustard pot; an addition to our Victorian silver condiments collection

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a compressed, rounded hexagonal form.


The subtly incurved panelled body of the mustard pot is plain and unembellished.


The upper rim of this fine example of Victorian silverware are ornamented with an impressive cast and applied Regency style leaf decorated border.


This mustard pot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with corresponding panelled decoration.


The cover is surmounted with an impressive sterling silver lobed thumbpiece.


This exceptional example of antique silverware has a reed decorated C shaped handle, accented with scroll leaf ornamentation to the terminals and thumbpiece.


The mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner and gilded interior.


This exceptional antique Victorian silver mustard pot is supported with impressive cast Regency style paw feet, accented with leaf decorated sockets in junction with the plain panelled body.


This mustard pot is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire and supplied with an associate sterling silver spoon, crafted by the London silversmith William Bateman I in 1821.

This antique Regency style mustard pot is a superior gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

The cast and applied decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the mustard pot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of silver cruets.
