This stunning, fine and impressive antique pearl and diamond Victorian brooch has been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold with silver settings.
The brooch is modelled in the form of two interlaced circles.
One circular design is ornamented with twenty-one pearls and the other bears nineteen diamonds, in a combination of Old European and Dutch cuts .
The pierced frame is further embellished with two individually claw set feature Old European cut claw set diamonds to the centre of each circular motif.
The silver set brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
The hinged pin is hallmarked with the French gold import mark (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
This stunning brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold and silver.
