This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire engagement ring has been crafted in platinum.
The cluster design displays a feature millegrain decorated collet set 1.50ct cushion cut Basaltic blue sapphire to the centre of the design.
The sapphire is encircled by twelve individually collet set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 1.15ct, comprising a scalloped halo border.
The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The ring shank is hallmarked to the outer surface with the French platinum mark (dog's head) and the ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This impressive cushion cut sapphire cluster ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
Such original antique French examples set with a stunning untreated basaltic sapphire, in addition to bearing clear hallmarks, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
