Description

This fine antique George V sterling silver and cut glass bon bon basket has a circular waisted shaped form to a swept foot.

The sterling silver holder of the basket is embellished with pierced decorated motifs in addition to an applied leaf ornamented border to the shaped rim.

This receiver is fitted with a removable cut glass dish ornamented with panels of geometric designs to the flared elongated rim.

The lower portion of the glass dish is embellished with a simplified leaf motif to each panel.

This antique glass basket has a plain faceted shaped sterling silver handle.

The underside of the weighted base is fitted with green baize.
