Seed Pearl and 18 ct Yellow Gold Cross Pendant - Vintage Circa 1940

Description

This fine and impressive vintage cross pendant has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with 18 ct white gold accents.

A 3.5mm seed pearl ornaments the centre of the design, set within an 18 ct white gold halo.

Each of the stipes and crosspieces are flared and fluted, accented with an 18 ct white gold lobed decoration and an 18 ct rose gold applied ball decoration.

The pendant suspends from a contemporary 18 ct yellow gold 18" fine link trace chain via a flared ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design secures with a conventional ring bolt fastening.

The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 18 ct gold fineness mark (750).

Due to the style of the pendant, there is a strong probability of Belgian origin.

The chain may be replaced with a chain of the same quality, in a style or length to meet your personal requirements.
