An exceptional, fine and impressive set of four antique Georgian English sterling silver salts; an addition to our silver cruet and condiment collection

These exceptional antique George III sterling silver salts have a circular cauldron shaped form.


The rounded body of each antique salt is embellished with impressive embossed and chased decoration, depicting scrolling floral and foliate motifs.


The rim of each exceptional 19th century silver salt is encircled with an impressive embossed gadroon decorated border.


Each salt cellar is supported by three cast scrolling feet ornamented with impressive bead decoration.


These antique pieces of silverware have gilded interiors.


Each of the salts has a double skin, as to be expected for this type of high quality silverware.


These exceptional 19th century silver salts are crafted by James Kirkby & Joseph Waterhouse of James Kirkby, Waterhouse & Co.
