Description

This fine and impressive gemstone brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow and white gold.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of two stylised birds perched on a closed umbrella.

The body of each bird is ornamented with an oval cabochon cut chrysoprase.

The yellow gold simplified wirework style heads incorporate eyes represented by claw set round faceted rubies, with a combined carat weight of 0.07cts.

The heads are further embellished with scalloped white gold wirework designs accented with six claw set eight-cut diamonds.

Each bird is embellished with tapering wings and tails, accented with concertina detailing.

The tapering baluster style umbrella features white gold accents to the curved handle and tip.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and sheath style fastening.

The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head) and the maker's mark.

This French gemstone brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
