These stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire earrings have been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The pierced decorated, cluster style earrings are ornamented with a 3.70ct and 3.60ct feature oval cut Ceylon sapphire, four-claw set in slight relief to the centre.
The sapphires are each encircled by fourteen claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 1.12cts, completing the cluster design.
The earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with a post and butterfly fastening.
These vintage sapphire and diamond earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
This impressive pair of earrings is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card*.
The vintage sapphire and diamond cluster earrings utilise a concentrated arrangement of gemstones to maximise visual balance, brilliance, and colour contrast within a compact form. The sapphires provide depth of tone, while the surrounding diamonds amplify light reflection and enhance perceived scale through clustered composition. This structurally balanced design, long associated with vintage jewellery, combines refinement with strong visual presence. As wearable objects, the earrings transition effectively between formal and everyday contexts, offering enduring elegance and commemorative value.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally (report number 5786-1153) accredited the sapphires originating in Sri Lanka and verifies that the gemstones show indications of heating.
