The brooch is ornamented with the insignia/cap badge of The Royal Artillery; The Royal Regiment of Artillery (RA) is the artillery arm of the British Army.
The cap badge design is surmounted with a coronet design above the regimental motto 'Ubique'- Everywhere.
The brooch is accented to the lower portion with a banner design, bearing the motto 'Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt' - Where Right and Glory Lead.
The applied white gold setting is embellished with twenty-four pavé set Dutch cut diamonds in a wheel design, accented with a collet set mine cut diamond to the centre, totalling 0.22ct.
The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
