This fine and impressive antique single strand necklace with diamond clasp has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The necklace consists of seventy-eight impressive emerald beads graduating in size and alternating with seventy-seven impressive seed pearls.
The necklace secures with an antique pierced decorated, marquise shaped push fit clasp.
The antique clasp is ornamented with three millegrain decorated collet set Old European round cut diamonds, in a linear formation.
The finely detailed clasp is further ornamented with eight pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Dutch and mine cuts, completing the design.
The tongue of the clasp is hallmarked with the French 18ct gold mark (eagle's head) and the maker's mark; and the clasp has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum.
This impressive emerald and pearl necklace is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
This emerald and pearl single strand bead necklace balances the contrast of vibrant green gemstones with the soft lustre of classic pearls, creating a look that feels both timeless and quietly distinctive. It is an elegant choice for those who appreciate subtle sophistication and is particularly well suited to daytime occasions, formal lunches, weddings or evening events where refined colour is desired without excess sparkle.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
