Description


This exceptional antique George V sterling silver bottle coaster has a plain cylindrical rounded form.


The body of the silver coaster is encircled with embossed girdles, each accented with a band of ribbed decoration.


The upper and lower portions of the body are embellished with applied moulded borders to the rims.


NOTE: The majority of such bottle coasters have a wooden base; it is a sign of quality when coasters have unlined, solid silver bases.

This antique sterling silver bottle coaster is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The coaster has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition
