This exceptional antique George V sterling silver teapot has a plain panelled rounded form onto a spreading octagonal base.

The panelled surface of the teapot is plain and unembellished, with swept shoulders an applied moulded border to the upper rim.

This Roberts and Belk silver teapot retains the original hinged hallmarked domed panelled cover surmounted with the original hallmarked, silver topped painted wood finial.

The teapot is fitted with the original painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece; the handpiece is fitted to sterling silver sockets.

This antique teapot has a plain tapering spout.

This impressive example of antique silverware bears the retailer's mark/icon of James Dixon to the underside, in addition to registration number 'Reg no 759403'.
