This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian pendant has been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The pierced decorated, heart-shaped frame displays a central collet set 2.86ct cushion cut blue sapphire.
The feature sapphire is accented by two pearls to the upper corners.
The openwork heart shaped design is comprised of two symmetrical scrolling foliate settings, ornamented with a total of seventeen diamonds in a combination of Old European and Dutch cuts.
The scrolling terminal of the heart frame is ornamented with a further two individually collet set diamonds.
The pendant is further ornamented with an articulating natural pearl drop at the nadir of the heart shape, completing the design.
The pendant suspends from an 18" 18ct yellow gold trace chain via an integrated loop to the reverse of the foliate design to the apex of the heart frame.
This versatile piece of Victorian jewellery may also be worn as a brooch, securing with a conventional hinged pin and clasp fastening to the reverse of the setting.
This stunning pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct gold and silver.
This stunning antique Victorian sapphire and pearl pendant is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading card.
