This stunning, fine and impressive antique 1900s antique pendant has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, six-petalled floral design displays a central feature claw set ruby, encircled with six millegrain decorated collet set pear shaped cabochon opals.
Each opal petal bears a collet set ruby to the incurve, completing the central floriated design.
The stellate-shaped, interlacing outer circumference of the pendant frame is further embellished with twelve circular-shaped cabochon opals, each pavé set to emanating terminals.
This Victorian ruby and opal pendant suspends from a contemporary 9ct yellow gold 18" chain via a detachable tapering bale to the upper border of the design; this bale bears a further impressive pavé set cabochon opal.
The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.
This versatile pendant may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
The pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct gold.
This impressive antique opal pendant / brooch is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
This pendant is an elegant gift for birthdays - particularly October and July - anniversaries, or romantic milestones, combining personal significance with refined beauty.
