This exceptional antique George V sterling silver and tortoiseshell frame has a rectangular form with an oval internal window.


The anterior surface of this antique photo frame is embellished with an impressive tortoiseshell panel.


The sterling silver sides and border to the anterior surface of the frame are plain and unembellished.


This impressive antique tortoiseshell frame is fitted with a green velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in green velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.


The photograph frame is inset with the original removable glass panel.
