The Initials "RH" are visible behind the cabochon cut synthetic ruby.

The central design is flanked on either side by a raised decoration to the shoulders.

The opposite shoulder is ornamented with the number '71' above the Bearcats* emblem and school initials.

The substantial ring shank is hallmarked to the interior with the maker's mark for J. Jenkins Sons Co. Inc. (JENKINS), the mark for 10 ct gold (1ok) and the initials "RDL".
