SKU C7322

This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold.

The brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a spider crawling.

The head and thorax of the arachnid are comprised of two stunning cultured pearls.

The two feature pearls are segmented with two individually claw set Old European cut diamonds, in addition to two further diamonds representing the eyes.

The brooch incorporates further anatomical features crafted in 18ct white gold, including: eight spindling legs, two pedipalps and chelicerae.

This rare antique spider brooch secures to the reverse with a white gold hinged pin and safety catch.

This brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.

This impressive pearl and diamond brooch is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.

Such antique brooches with large pearls are rare and becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

This fine and impressive antique spider brooch is excellent quality, set with stunning cultured pearls displaying fine colour, lustre and presence.

The high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.

The brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of antique insect jewellery.
