This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a crown/coronet, accented with millegrain and engraved decoration.
The cross patty to the centre of the crown is embellished with four impressive collet set mixed cut sapphires, totalling 2.40ct, encompassing an individually collet set 0.03ct Old European cut diamond.
The central cross design is flanked with a floral head motif comprised of five rubies to one side and a three-leaf clover design bearing three chrysoprases, all collet set mixed cut stones.
The outer border of this ornamental band terminates with two collet set mixed cut amethysts, totalling 0.80ct.
The lower band of the crown is ornamented with alternating two rubies, two chrysoprases and three opals, in a paralleling alternating formation.
This rare 1920's brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp; if required, a ring loop could be added to this impress brooch enabling it to be worn as a pendant.
This antique gemstone brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
