Description

This exceptional antique sterling silver drinks tray has a plain oval form.

The surface of this Victorian silver tray is plain and unembellished.

The deep galleried border of this tray is embellished with an impressive pierced and applied laurel / bay leaf decoration, incorporating two shaped oval inset handles.

Each handpiece is encompassed with a branch decorated border, ornamented with details replicating the wood's naturalistic texture.

This sterling silver tray is further embellished with an applied bead decorated border to the rim.
