This fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond dress ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The pierced decorated, circular setting is ornamented with a central 18ct yellow gold collet set 0.20ct square step cut sapphire; this openwork geometric plaque design bridges late Victorian motifs and early Art Deco design elements.
The feature gemstone is encirculd with a silver set halo style setting, embellished with four larger collet set Dutch cut diamonds to the cardinal points and conjoined with four pairs of slightly smaller pavé set Dutch cut diamonds*.
The subtly elevated, tapering ring shoulder blend seamlessly with the plain 18ct yellow gold ring shank.
This antique dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and silver.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
The sapphire and diamond dress ring combines rich colour with refined brilliance in an elegant antique design. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the warm setting complements the sapphire and provides contrast to the surrounding diamonds. Its early 20th-century character makes it particularly suited to milestone birthdays, anniversaries, or as a distinctive heirloom piece.
