Condition

This antique sterling silver and glass claret jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The glass is in perfect condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks to the cover have wear due to their location and in keeping with age; the maker's mark to the cover and the mount are not deeply struck but remain legible.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of Victorian glassware.
