Description


This fine and impressive vintage frog brooch has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold in the form of a frog.


The head of the frog is embellished with three pavé set eight-cut diamonds and a pavé set round cut emerald.


Two individually collet set round cut rubies represent the eyes.


The body of the frog is ornamented with two feature collet set garnet cabochons, totalling 5.95 cts.


The hind legs of the frog are embellished with a total of seven transitional modern brilliant round cut pavé set diamonds.


The 14 ct gold frame is embellished with a subtle millegrain and engraved decoration.


The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp.


The frog brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the mark for 14 ct gold (14k) and the maker's mark 'W.F.S'.


This impressive vintage frog brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

This impressive vintage 1950's brooch is fine quality set with garnets, rubies, an emerald and very well colour matched, very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The brooch is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the reverse of the setting.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of vintage jewellery/estate jewelry.
