Set of Six 9ct Yellow Gold Golf Buttons - Antique Circa 1910

An exceptional, fine and impressive set of six antique 9 carat yellow gold buttons with golfing interest - boxed; an addition to our jewellery collection

SKU C5296

This exceptional set of six antique Edwardian shank buttons has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

Each hallmarked gold button has a circular form, ornamented with an impressive cast golfing scene depicting a male in full-swing, with a golf course terrain in the background.

The reverse of each antique button is plain and unembellished, apart from the gold fineness hallmark '9ct'.

Each impressive piece is accommodated with a yellow gold split ring.

The components of this exceptional set are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch.

NOTE: Due to their large size of 34.6 lignes (34.6 L) it can be determined these shank buttons would typically be used for a coat or jacket; a button is commonly measured in lignes, with 40 lignes equal to 1 inch.
